MGenius Academy (MGA) is proud to celebrate an outstanding showing at the 2026 Math Kangaroo Contest — the world’s largest mathematics competition, with more than 60,000 participants across the U.S. and over 6 million students in 90+ countries this year.
16 MGA students earned national or state recognition, a result that reflects both the talent of our students and the strength of our problem-solving curriculum.
2026 Highlights

3 MGA students placed #1 nationally ,each with a perfect-tier score of 96

15 MGA students earned National Top 20 placement, spanning Grades 2 through 5,4 MGA students claimed Massachusetts State Top 3 honors

A Celebration to Remember
At the award ceremony, each winner’s results were shown on the big screen as they stepped up to receive their certificates, medals, and an armful of prizes. Because Math Kangaroo does not provide physical awards for national ranks 11–20, MGA prepared additional keepsake prizes for every participant — so that every child’s effort was recognized with something they could hold in their hands.

Nearly 50 guests attended, with proud parents capturing the moment on camera throughout the event.
“What we celebrate is not the medals themselves, but the way our students think. Math Kangaroo rewards curiosity, persistence, and the willingness to approach problems from unexpected angles — exactly the habits we build every week at MGA.” — MGA Leadership Team
Math Kangaroo is widely regarded as a meaningful early indicator of long-term competition readiness, building the flexible, creative problem-solving that supports later success in AMC 8, AMC 10, and beyond.
