A Special Spring Event for Students and Families

As education continues to evolve, more families are looking for learning experiences that go beyond traditional academics. Today, STEM education and entrepreneurial thinking are becoming increasingly important in helping students build creativity, confidence, and real-world problem-solving skills.

To help families explore these opportunities, MGA will host a Spring Open House on May 9 for students in Grades 1–8 and their parents. This event will feature hands-on student trial classes, program introductions for parents, and a special guest speaker with deep experience in independent school admissions.

Whether your child is just beginning to explore STEM or is ready for more advanced competition and innovation programs, this Open House is a great opportunity to experience MGA’s educational approach firsthand.

Date: Friday, May 9

Location: 288 Walnut St, Suite 300, Newton, MA 02460

Time: 1:30–2:45 PM

This session is designed for younger students who are interested in hands-on STEM learning.

Students will participate in:

  • a 45-minute engineering trial class
  • a 25-minute fun math experience

These activities are designed to strengthen logical thinking, creativity, and curiosity through interactive learning.

While students are in class, parents will learn more about:

  • MGA’s course system
  • upcoming summer camps
  • academic pathways for long-term growth

This session is ideal for families who want an introduction to MGA’s elementary STEM and math programs.

Time: 3:00–4:30 PM

This session is designed for older students who are ready to explore advanced STEM learning, project-based innovation, and entrepreneurship.

One of the highlights of this event is a new interactive experience inspired by students from Babson College, a school widely recognized for entrepreneurship education.

This program combines technology, invention, and business thinking, helping students experience how ideas can develop into real products. Students will not only work on projects, but also begin thinking about product purpose, user needs, and market value.

Families will also have the opportunity to explore several of MGA’s advanced programs:

Students will explore the connection between artificial intelligence, biomimicry, and innovation while learning about advanced AI project pathways.
